I see people making templates everyday with picutre of servers in them. Where do they get these pictures from? Can you just go to say...dell or sun's website and download their stock photos and use them....Ive looked at istockphoto and a bunch of other places and I can't seem to find any stock photos of servers....anyone care to explain where they get these from?

In most cases if you search for technology-based galleries is where you'll find all types of photos to use, and buy. If you take a photo from another site you might want to be on the beware side that they might have bought the rights to that photo, and that is legal action that can be taken towards you. :)
Good luck. Hope I helped you out. :)

For what it's worth, I didn't blindly post. I read his thread completely, though for some reason I missed his reference to istock.

Anyway..
jcashman, if you use the search button on this forum and look for "stock photos," you should get quite a few links to various places that you hopefully haven't tried. Here's one such thread: http://webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=55278&highlight=stock+photos with several good links in it.
