I`m very new here and have some stupid questions:
Why mut I have a own domainame to be able by a webplace?
I have been seaching on the net for a long time for some cheap host, I don´t need mucht space but don´t like pop-ups and banners on my site.
I have a domain from namezero www.perserkatter.com but dont like to use it (i have space for that site allready). I don´t care what kind of URL I get.
Please can someone help me.

You only get pop-ups and banners on free hosts. If you are looking for a banner-free free-host try www.freewebspace.net.
Many paid-hosts do give the option of getting a subdomain ie www.mysite.netfirms.com

I haven´t find many hosts that offers subdomains, I will try www.netfirms.com :)

netfirms does require the banner ad.. but this can be moved to the bottom of page.

if you go with 'free hosting' you should expect a banner placement.. it's only 'right' in tutor's eyes.. for a host to give you free space..
