We are incorporated in Romania, EU and would like to know what are the alternatives for a good merchant account for a Romanian company.
Although WorldPay accept EU companies, it looks like Romania is not in their list yet... What other options do I have?

It all depends on if your previous processing history, monthly volumes, type of business and your financial capacity to handle refunds and chargebacks.

There are alternate solutions to WorldPay and if you are unable to obtain direct merchant account, there are always third party merchant solutions you may want to consider.

Have you checked out 2CO? They are available worldwide and have recently added the PayPal option to their system as well.

2Co might be a option for you or paypal, but as already said, then it depends on the type of business, processing history, monthly turnover etc.

You should just apply online on the varios payment service providers available out there and then see if someone accept your business.

We already have a processing history through a 3rd party provider. We are in this business since 2002, and maybe it is time for a real merchant account.
