Is there any good open source for project management?
I'd like to have one that keep track of different applications I am working on and their progress.
Thanks!

Here's one I've seen.
http://freelanceescape.com/resources/activecollab-bc/
Not sure how good it is, not used it yet.

I have not used any *nix ones but a quick search on SourceForge reveals quite a few. http://sourceforge.net/search/?type_of_search=soft&type_of_search=soft&words=project+management
I am not sure what you actually need but you might even look at the actual SourceForge software itself. It's free up to 15 users.

I have used (for testing purposes) the following php scripts and I have been satisfied :
- DotProject - www.dotproject.net
- PHProjekt - www.phprojekt.com
Of course, there is a lot of research on this field. Sourceforge and Hotscripts would be your best friends!
Good luck!

You can also check OpenStar which is a crm/project management based on PostNuke - this means you have a full CMS and Project Management features (bug tracker, calendar, address book, forum, faq, content etc.) plus you can install more modules (like chat etc.).

Tony,
The DotProject is nice. I am checking on the others which you have recommended.
Thanks a lot!

If you use vBulletin, I suggest the Project Tools. (Made by Jelsoft)
I really like the system, does everything you need, and highly expandable.

Also if you can list down ONLY the functions that you are seeking from such a project management tool, you may be surprised to find atleast most of the functions in many softwares which you already know of !
