Those with a "-" normally commands much lesser money than the full word. But such nice domains like chinatravel etc are all long gone.......

Do you know how annoying it is to tell someone a domain name with a hyphen in it? And especially with something as popular as travel, its best to register it without the hyphen.

Oh, by the way, the domain is not available :P

I would register both, and 301 china-travel.com to the other.

Although you should carefully examine the wording before deciding, a couple of old classics...

Yes registering both would be the best idea and 301 one to another. As mentioned, if you have to tell someone the domain is

china-travel.com then you have to say " china Hyphen travel dot com"

thanks for you advices, friends! i agree that chinatravel is more easy to remember

i have heard that chinatravel will be seen as "one word" in search enginee, and china-travel will be considering as china and travel = two words, maybe there is some different effect on SEO.

Register both ... There's an effect on SEO if you have long words (so dashes would do well in that case).

That's my choice too.

Hi, if possible, it is always recommended to have domain names with just letters, no numbers of symbols but nowadays it might seem to be a difficult task to find unregistered domain names sometimes.

I don't find that with any of my websites....

The non-dashed version is always a better choice.

I'm gonna have to agree with the others... non-hyphen domains are almost always better, and if you own a domain with a hyphen and don't have the non-hyphen version then that's just asking for trouble ;)

Spare no expense, use/buy both.

If you can get the one word one I don't see the point of registering the hyphen one. Maybe the dot net (and dot com.cn, .cn since you are in China), but definitely not china-travel
