A group of us are setting up a dedicated server and we are currently doing some research on the various server stat software out there. I'm just wondering what everyone else uses/recommends. Your pros/cons would be greatly appreciated too.

Thanks,
Scott

I have the same question. Some that I have been looking at are:

Webalizer (http://www.mrunix.net/webalizer)
OpenWebScope (http://www.openwebscope.com)
WebLog Expert (http://www.weblogexpert.com)
Advanced Log Analyzer (http://www.vknoware.com/ala)

I think so far that I like WebLog Expert best. It's not free like Webalizer, but it looks nice and is easy to setup.

Anyone have comments or other suggestions?

WebAlizer is the most common option and it works great for me.

webalyzer is s-h-i-t-e. (IMO, anyways)

I use sawmill www.sawmill.net I highly reccommend it. there are versions of it for all platforms. It can be run as CGI or as a server on the port of your choice
