How do you specify a Win2k3 install when ordering?

How is calculated the bandwidth usage? How are bandwidth overages billed?

We didn't enable that for these specials. Let me see what I can get done - we usually offer WHT members either WHM or Windows. I will post the links to that config here momentarily.

Thanks,
Joe

95th percentile is how usage is calculated. You have access to both basic in and out statistics, as well as packet sniffing per port if you like.

Overage is billed at $95 per MBPS (320 GB) or $0.50 per GB unless you step up to a larger plan. How much BW do you need?

Thanks. 1.5TB is much more than I need by now. I just don't like bill surprises. :D

There are now links in this thread for a Windows Server 2003 Standard config without a panel instead of WHM on Linux. We will keep the price the same, although it will go up if you want a control panel other than RDP to the server...

Thanks,
Joe

Well, some of the newer systems we will get in have SAS options, but because our systems all use hardware RAID, we have stayed on the higher end SCSI path just due to preference and performance.

These options also delay our ability to build out your system quickly. I think at this point the cost would be about the same for the 320 SATA drives as just the fee to swap the 300 GB SCSI drives you see. - that is 1 year of $50 per month or a 1 time payment of $450 up front.

We just don't have SATA RAID cards in stock at the moment, so that would bump the cost beyond what just plugging the 300's in would be, and the SCSI is better performing to boot.

Thanks,
Joe

But i do not like Raided systems, and which 300 scsi drives are you talking about i do not see any server with them on the list you provided ? They are smaller capacity !!

I misread your original post. There is an upgrade option in the signup process to replace the 2 73 or 147 GB drives with 300 GB SCSI drives. Those drives are in stock.

We can turn RAID off if you really want us to, but strongly recommend against it.

Joe

Can you provide me with the FSB of the CPU's and will i be able to add additional 500 gigs at fixed rate of $20 per month later down the road if i do not do so now ?

domainworldaccess

FSB is 533 MHz. L2 Cache is 512k. The 3.2's have a full speed L3 cache of additional 1M.

The $20/month 500 GB USB addon drive option is a valid upgrade to all customers and the cost vanishes after first year.

Joe

Thanks all - we are sold out of the 2.8's and 3.2's...

We appreciate your business. There are still some machines available from the Deal 2 category. the deal is good until they are gone.

Thanks,
Joe

We are new, as posted here also: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=636388

Domain World Access (see my screen name) is a company that was formally organized in March of 2007. The partners who formed the company had been independently involved in web services and internet properties since 2001. ServersAndHosting.com is the ISP / Web Server side of the business.

The servers about which this original post was written are located in Colo4Dallas, as has been stated in this thread already.

What questions do you have. I will be happy to try to answer them, or get them answered.

Thanks,
Joe
