Yes yes I know, 'such a horrible mistake' signing up with Microsoft for a free web domain. But what can I say? I was young and dumb. Now the hard part. I basically want to cancel this service from Microsoft and transfer my domain over to NameCheap.com. So far I'm trying to read up about it via the net but I'm not turning up any good leads. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks!

This would be better under the Domains Forum. Moved.

Is the domain registered in your name or Microsoft's name? Check at WHOIS (ie www.whois.sc). Do you have access to a control panel at Microsoft where you can change the name or the name servers?
