Dear all,

May i know where can get LEGAL TOS / AUP for hosting services? Something similar to hostlegal.com but it seems like hostlegal only for US.

Any Idea? :D

Take a look at the ToS of your server/vps/reseller hosting provider and be sure to at least paraphrase or include them into your own. Also do make sure to include any internet related laws that apply to your country as well, and anything you find offensive, or don't want any part of hosting. Other than that you really are all set.

Well, if i took it from the server provider, I afraid that they can sue me for copyright

That is true, unless there is a section that says you may use, redistributed and refactor the text or you can e-mail them and ask.

However, it is highly unprofessional and insensible to simply copy a ToS or AUP without understanding it or having it reviewed by your lawyer - after all, this is your contract and ultimately defines your (you as a provider) protections; not just to look impressive.

SoftwareRevue of this forum has published a free-for-use ToS for hosters, which applies to the US jurisdiction (so maybe not yours): http://www.iamdum.com/2006/12/31/hosting-terms-of-service/#Web%20Site%20Hosting%20And%20Email
