I know a number of merchants that have lost thousands to Apax and now Mr. Arnold is the CEO of teh company. A merchant told me that their offices are no more than telephone answering businesses.

I offer this response as a warning about E-APAX, and their CEO Peter Arnold and their CFO Mark Brown.

Their company was formed with the intent to defraud merchants from the start. They would intentionally mis-code merchant transactions and run them through their online pharmacy MID (mentioned at the top of this thread). Merchant accounts would also suffer from phantom chargebacks - chargebacks that didn't exist, except in their reporting system. The final straw is that they did not settle merchant funds and claimed the funds are frozen or eaten up with fines.

Peter Arnold has a history of moving to company to company and leaves in his wake a jumbled mix of angry merchants, upset banks, destroyed ISO's and millions of dollars unaccounted for.

There is no good news with this company or the people involved. Consider this friendly advice. If you don't know them, consider yourself lucky. If you do know them, then misery loves company.
