My last review of AxisHost was at the3 month mark (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=601233).

AxisHost is the first host that I stayed with for more than a year so that's a pretty good indication of how things are going.

Any downtime I have experienced was explained thoroughly and had nothing to do with AxisHost (the data center was the culprit). Anything else was scheduled in advance and I was notified before hand.

I had a couple of billing problems but it was handled promptly. Overall, Tina does great work.

So have a cold one on me if you're reading this Tina (seriously, throw it in the next invoice).

Domain is intravising.com - nothing can be viewed, it's a private site for displaying client work.

I have been with Axishost a few weeks - main website not up but with the things I have been working on they have been very helpful

Uptime is good but I do not have the numbers I received timely announcements twice of maintenance downtime, Thank You. Each event was under 10 minutes I believe.

Unlike other hosts that I have been with I applaud their courtesy in communications that alone scores high for me.

So far it has been a very good experience.

Mods PM me if you need to check the domain.

well...although I've never been with then...I have heard nothing but decent comments about them...which in these times is a good thing

We've been hosting all of our backup stuff with Tina for a few months now and I can also vouch for her. She and the team are awesome.

Yeah, we're not rock bottom cheap and won't ever be. We're far from "very pricey" though. ;)

Didn't mean to be insulting in any way - i was checking the difference of what $30 a month will get me is all - and that seemed a fair manner of speaking unless I was looking in the wrong place on your site - -

WebHostManager (WHM) and cPanel are included on every hosting account we offer ...

Multi-C Multi-D Multi-E Web Space 4 GB

Monthly Bandwidth 125 GB

Monthly Price $34.99
as opposed to 15,000 MB, 150 GB - $30 - that I've been paying - price is not the main issue but in this case the disk space is quite different

Sorry to have stepped on your toes - not my intention at all, apologies.

The price of hosting is far more than just diskspace and bandwidth. One example would be that we offer a 99.99% uptime SLA, your host offers 99.9%. That's actually a huge difference. But, different hosts for different needs. I'm glad you're happy with your host.

Looks like Tina is doing a great job, keep it up :).

Buddah, it looks like Tina's service is more angled towards clients who need reliability rather than price. A lot of people are willing to pay more for less than 5 minutes of downtime per month as when your running an ecommerce site, downtime usually results in more lost money than the difference in the hosting plan's price.
