View Full Version : Looking for reseller account?
laflair13 12-27-2007, 02:42 PM Hey All, I am in search of a decent reseller account, I tried to go with reyox.com, but when they did the transfer all I get is the apache install success page, They don't respond to emails and they are never online,
Please Help.
My situation is I have about 30 client sites and get 10 new ones on an average month, I am looking to get a dedicated server in he future but want to test resellers first.
I am looking for 100gb of space and 1000gb of bandwidth, Can anyone point me in the right direction?
any advice would be greatly appreciated.

your requirements already suggest at least a dedicated server
Anyway, have a look at www.mosso.com
laflair13 12-27-2007, 03:05 PM Sounds good, just dont wanna spend that much at the beginning, This is what I was offered from the other guys, But lke I said, sites are still down after 2 days of being transfered.
:: 100 GB of storage (yes 100 GB that you can use)
:: 1000 GB of bandwidth
:: Host UNLIMITED domains
:: Ruby on rails
:: RVSkin
:: Latest cPanel/WHM
:: True 24-7 ticket/email/live support
Only for $49 per month!
So Hopefully I can at least get them to issue me a refund.
Sago-Sean 12-27-2007, 04:44 PM Well moving to a dedicated server will provide you a little more control as far as managing your clients. There are allot of specials offered here in WHT on servers and when shopping around ask if there are reseller discounts and move in prices. Also may want to consider some kind of management package to help with trouble shooting.
I hope these points help and wish you luck in your search.:agree:
sTag-Dan 12-27-2007, 04:45 PM Don't see why they wouldn't issue you a refund if it has only been 2 days. So did they transfer all of your accounts for you or no?

johnny-l is right, reseller hosting is not very likely to be the answer for you, if you really have that kind of usage.

They transfered the accounts and all domains I have whos nameservers I changed are seeing the apache page, like the aerowebhost, in my sig.
I hope I can find a decent dedicated box, I was going to go with a reseller account until I seen the support and all then once clients payments started coming in I was going to upgrade.
johnny-l 12-27-2007, 04:47 PM Whether you're free to believe any absurd claim a casual hosting company will make, it's enough to note that running smoothly several GB websites accounting for 1TB bandwidth needs at least a medium range dedicated server, with the only cpanel licensing for the server costing, alone, nearly that 49$ mark.
Do your math
Good luck with your business
laflair13 12-27-2007, 04:55 PM Yea, I am trying to get a refund to get a dedicated, but I cant get any return emails

Did you try to login via cpanel?
The transfer is not complete if you cannot login.
A decent dedicated box will cost you at least $120 (with control panel) but you should get a powerful one to have room for expanding.

Yes I can login to the cpanel, I don't have a clue of whats going on, its going on 20 hrs of no response from them.
I actually found a decent deal with SuperbHosting, Just waiting on the refund to get my sites going.
