no, there are some diffrent features that both have. i think just they run on diffnrent OSs i know they are both vunerable to the same problems though :)

ADV can support more processors I think 4 or 8 or something

The major differences:

Advanced Server supports: 1 to 8 processors and up to 8 gigabytes;two-node clustering; 32-node network load balancing

Server supports: 1 to 4 processors and up to 4 gigabytes.
