View Full Version : I found the best hosting reseller available!
brightice 12-21-2007, 05:59 PM As a Dell employee, an MIT, and a marketing manager for numerous online organizations I am rarely impressed with any hosts I've found online.
A few months back I read a very positive review for Scalahosting.com saying that they had really great reseller hosting for a reasonable price. Every time I encounter any sort of problem what-so-ever I always go to their customer support (I have yet to find a time when their support is not available) and it is fixed immediately.
What really inspired my post is that I was having a problem today with Zend (I haven't had to deal with this protection software before), and after clicking their "Live Chat" feature I was instantly connected with Vince in support. He had the problem fixed in literally 60 seconds (I don't exaggerate).
The price is right, their support is the BEST and their hosting is the fastest and most feature-rich I have ever experienced. You'd be out of your mind to not sign up with them. I give them a 12 out of 10.
Enjoy your holidays and if you have any questions about my experiences with them, please send me a message.

pilsentico 12-21-2007, 06:08 PM what domain do you have whit them?.
PremiumHost 12-21-2007, 06:20 PM What kind of problem you're having with zend.
Once it's installed on the server, your encoded script should run without problem unless you used the latest version of zend to encode and the server has outdated version.
if you have any questions about my experiences with them, please send me a message.
Please post the domain you have with them for verification purposes. If you'd rather not post publicly, simply report your post to the helpdesk and provide it there.

iHubNet-Matt 12-21-2007, 11:35 PM I have not heard them much but a quick search showed me some results.
Any way it is great to know that you are happy with your host, but as said above a domain pointing to them will make your review more valid.
I think I haven't seen any one giving a 12 out of 10 for any host here.

You should probably rephrase the title to the best reseller host available to you, because what may be good for you, might not be good for some. Some people need less technical support, and would like bigger packages in return, some people need tons of technical support, and will accept the dwarfed package sizes that that aspect of hosting offers. There are also people who hate even a single billing mistake, and there are laid back people who don't lose much sleep over it. I often compare hosting to clothing, not everyone likes one style of shirts, there is a broad range, the same could be said for hosting and its many aspects.

It's a normal thing for WHT to validate a domain to a review. I think it gives the "verified" approach knowing that the poster is indeed a client of the host :)
brightice 12-22-2007, 03:41 AM The domain is hostcork.com.
Customer support offered me ClientExec and WHMautopilot.. I'm trying to figure out what would be a better option to automate my hosting resale.. any suggestions?
I've tried different resales programs. The worst I've experienced thus far was Bitesites.com. Their customer support is never online and they have yet to respond to my email (which was sent months ago).. not to mention that if you call the phone number they list for support it's some guy that claims he is getting sick of receiving calls from people asking for bitesites.
I know that the Zend thing wasn't a big deal, but I think it's a big help for support to help me with that sort of thing when it was clearly not a problem on their end. Plus, I don't have time to be reading every piece of support material for every script or piece of software I purchase so it's very convenient for me to have them go out of their way to give me a hand. The people at godaddy simply informed me that the problem was "out of their hands" when I had a problem when using their hosting. For being such a big entity and having so much money, that's just downright rediculous.

brightice 12-22-2007, 09:06 AM Just because I haven't gotten an index.html up yet dosen't mean that I didn't install the billing script.
After talking me through some of the different features of billing software, I decided on WHMCS. I was having a register globals issue, and not only did Vince from support fix the issue, but he went as far as to install it for me and make sure it was working right, and then created a sub domain for me.
See billing.hostcork.com.
You may have your doubts, but this is the honest truth. I personally have never experienced a better reselling program.
johannes 12-22-2007, 10:07 AM Well here comes the second 12 out of 10 vote for Scalahost. I have been with them over a month and can say the same as the poster.
1)Support is tops and always online. If have yet to send a ticket as Vince sort me out while i am online. i needed a few accounts restored from another server. While talking to Vince in live chat he said wait ........... and then came back ........... Johan check that one now done. I expected this only to be done much later. i told Vince not to worry as i only needed it done by the next day. Vince is always friendly and helpful
2)i have 56 accounts on this reseller and haven't had a problem and speeds is tops. For those who think i am from Scala my reseller account is www.epropnet.info (http://www.epropnet.info) and one of my accounts is www.blackgoogle.co.za (http://www.blackgoogle.co.za)
3) VIVA www.scalahosting.com (http://www.scalahosting.com)
As for the best reseller......... well no problems but i am sure there are other resellers just as good. They are just like looking for hens teath on the net
Greetings Johan
ldcdc 12-23-2007, 06:57 AM It's good to hear you guys have found hosting that makes you happy. :)

For being such a big entity and having so much money, that's just downright rediculous. How much money they have is not the issue. The amount you were paying them is much more likely to be one. :)
As for their size, it may very well work against them a bit. Many things make sense and are sustainable for a smaller business, where the owner(s) are willing to go the extra mile, but once the organization grows, things tend to change.

Hello,
I do apologize for the inconvenience and lack of support. If you may please PM the email address in which was used to contact us so I may attempt to locate your ticket. We are not looking to ask you to return to us if you were a previous customer or attempt to convince you to join our services. We would like to locate the reason for the non response to your ticket and perhaps offer you a free domain by a popular registrar.
Outlaw Web Master 12-24-2007, 01:26 PM hmm
maybe the best reseller available is a bit over the top.
i.e no one has ever heard of them.
seems like newbies posting
owm
FasterUpload 12-25-2007, 09:04 AM I've heard of Scala Hosting, never tried them out yet.
The only way I can be sure is to check it out myself then :P
That's probably the only way anyone can prove a service what it's said to be.
CaroNet-Hesham 12-25-2007, 12:34 PM If you haven't heard of them before, that's not always a bad thing ;)

Hmmm mabey a "newbie" posting but as far as i am concerned i have had wonderful support from Scala Hosting and even i they are new don't you think they deserve the praises due to them. i mean there are lots of hosting companies that is new and to me by reporting how good they are is a good thing.
All hosting companies was new at one time and if you are a hosting company you would also like good reports ;)
Outlaw Web Master 12-26-2007, 07:38 PM hmm they've been around since Aug 19 2005 so that's not too bad and i suppose no news is good news.
good luck to them

jeremyc 12-28-2007, 04:32 PM Yes, I signed up for Scala Hosting and I am so far well satisfied with my experience there!
Nnyan 01-01-2008, 08:18 PM Glad you're happy but I always take claims of "best..." with a grain of salt. Not everyone has the same needs as you which is why the one host that is best for you may not be for the next person.
come back in 6 months and keep us posted.
r34psp 01-02-2008, 03:46 AM I just signed up for a RC1 package.
