OK....let's see....per telemarketer...

20 dials per hour @ 40 hrs....800 dials...

Reach decision maker....200

Interested in discussing service.....10

Sales.....2

Cost 40X$10 = $400

Profit on Avg Sale=$100/month....

Cost per sale =$200.....

Could pay.

Corrected some logic as Chicken flapped his wings and woke me up.

They are selling dedicated servers, not $20/mo accounts would be my guess, as they mostly sell deds.

Maybe they are reaching for sales...perhaps having trouble making ends meet?

Their bubble has certainly burst. And, unfortunately, all of their own accord. They had the facility, the connectivity and the control panel/management system. However, pricing became less and less competitive, support worsened, and, ultimately, they showed a total disregard for their customers and the businesses of their customers. After seeing some of their moves when departures have been announced, I am appalled anyone chooses to continue with them.

What a shame.

Funny...we were considering them for hosting of a national ISP network, in 2000. They never returned any emails or phonecalls.

Times change :D

Didnt they release their control panel to the public to try and bring in more revenue?

Yep they called me too.

I kept 'em on the phone well over 30 minutes.

Wonder how quota went for the poor sop who had the luck to get my number?

They do offer it now to those outside their center, but at a price that is quite prohibitive.
