Do any of you accept non on-line payment methods from small hosting clients ($15-$30/month)?

There are many people all over the world who are interested in services but do not have a credit/debit card they can use to pay. Accepting international checks is not very practical because they take a long time to clear.

The other options that come to mind are Money Orders, Western Union, and MoneyGram. However, the problem with all of these is that they require manual work to process which may not be worth the small profit on the account.

Are there other options or have you managed to automate any of the above offline payment methods?

After some digging I came across this on the WU website:
http://www.westernunion.com/info/bsCashSvcGlance.asp

This could be quite useful since it doesn't require the merchant leaving the office.

Depositing money orders in the bank is never too much work :)

Having more payment options is actually better and will increase your sale ,
and there is also some check processor ,
try a Google search

Well, locally, I collect most of the money in cash, because my clients pay me that way.

They came to my office and pay for 3 - 6 months (sometimes a year) :)

Better than anything.

But, online... again, for my country we have Pago Fácil which is great since the client print a bill and then go to some store to pay it (so he doesn't need a CC to pay).. but international I think the best (and cheap) way is Credit Card or Paypal.

Well, you can always use Western Union, Xoom or Money Gram :)

Paying in advance can scare potential customers away...

That doesn't work when the customer doesn't have a credit card (see first post) :)
Mailing cash is not practical for international transactions.
