View Full Version : Logo Design - Exchange for ! year Free Hosting
RouteHost 08-08-2002, 07:41 AM Hi There!
I am starting RouteHost soon but I have just bought a new server with ensim installed.
I was wondering if anyone would be able to design a logo for my company in exchange for 1 year of free hosting.
I am sure this following specifications to your hosting account will be of interest to you.
- 500 MB Webspace
- Unlimited Bandwidth (If you think why we can offer you unlimited hosting reason being in Singapore, our internet providers do not limit the amount of traffic instead they limit the speed of the bandwidth. Currently our servers are connected to 4 providers with an average of 1Mbps currently shared within 3 servers only.)
- Unlimited POP3 Email Accounts
- Unlimited POP3 Email Forwarding Accounts
- CGI/Perl/PHP Access
- 1 MySQL Database
- Anonymous FTP
I have just registered the domain name therefore the domain name is not up yet but you may wish to do a traceroute or pings to 210.193.6.43
Best Regards!

Ok, then there IS a limit, that limit being 1/3 of a megabit, which is around 100 Gb per month....but you'd also need some for your other customers.
Please do not advertise unlimited, because it doesn't exist. All you will achieve is to get flamed on here.
Just a bit of friendly advice :)
Good luck with your business!

RouteHost 08-08-2002, 07:36 PM Actually, there is such a thing "unlimited bandwidth" in Singapore. How about checking with http://www.qala.com.sg or telecommunications giant: http://www.singtel.com
You see, there is no limit to the bandwidth in Singapore. We do not get billed for bandwidth!
m3trans1t 08-08-2002, 08:49 PM what he's saying is the max that your connection will allow is 1/3 of a megabit which is 41.666KB/s, in one second only ~42KB are allowed to be sent out. Times that by 3600x24x30 = 108GB/month. So in a month, the maximum that your connection will send out is 108GB. By limiting your connection speed, they are actually able to limit your total bandwidth usage also because the connection can't go any faster.
Metallimp89 08-09-2002, 01:20 AM I would design you a logo. I am pretty good. But the trial on my graphics program ran out. I will have to go buy it. If you want i will try to do one in about 2 days. I'm sure i will have a program by then.
Thanks.
RouteHost 08-09-2002, 02:13 AM sure :)

Metallimp89 08-09-2002, 01:09 PM Text is a little hard to read. But the design is good. Just try a different font or darkening the text. Thats my opinion.
Metallimp89 08-09-2002, 01:30 PM Heres one.

Metallimp89 08-12-2002, 01:23 PM Seems too busy aplus. But that could just be me.
I havent seen routehost respond to any messages on here so it might be futile. Anyway, keep up the good work.
SiteTutor 08-12-2002, 03:23 PM We have excellent graphics talent on board, and we love the 'barter' type situations.. and we are in need of launching a site within the next few weeks, let's barter!:D
RouteHost 08-17-2002, 02:33 AM I am sorry guys.
I was out of office for a conference for a couple of days recently.
Sorry about the misconception about me being futile.
