I have a query based on flash. I designed some flash file with link in them. When i used it, it required two clicks. One for "Click to activate and use this control" and other one obviously to take me to page linked.

Whereas i have seen many flash banners on various site which do not require any click for and straighaway take to linked page with single click.

Can someone help me with this?

Here's a fix (http://www.mix-fx.com/flash-prompt.htm). I've used another hack and didn't test this one but it should work.

thanks, but is not there anything that i can do to flash file or add some code in flash file to make it pre-activated? i dont want to code at site level.

The problem isn't with the embedded flash file, it's about the technique IE uses to embed activeX objects. This applies to java and some other files. As stated on that page I linked to, the issue is copyright related. I'm not aware of other methods to overcome this problem. sorry.
