I am planning to make a site like http://asl.to . And i am now looking for a good host. My question is how much bandwidth per month would i need for a site like http://asl.to . If somebody could give me some figures that would be great. Lets say i am gooing for 10000 members.
Thanks

Ok, let's say:
You get 10000 members
Each member's page takes 50kbytes
Each member's page gets viewed 4 times a month on average (you'll have inactive members)
10000 * 50kbytes * 4 = 2 GB of bandwidth
As you can see, it won't be very significant.
Good analysis on that one pmak0. But you forgot one thing. You need to multiple the total with the average number of pages viewed per member. The formula would be as follows:
visitors * average page size * average visits per month * average number of pages viewed per visit = monthly bandwidth
One visitor or member can look at maybe 5 pages or 10 pages during his one visit. The number of pages viewed will throw your bandwidth up or down.
