View Full Version : Need Opinions about Affiliate program
rllunzmann 12-14-2007, 02:23 PM Hi everyone,
I'm looking to setup an affiliate program with our company that will allow users to join the program and also track referral signups from them. Does anyone know of a free script or even a paid software that is well worth the time?
Thanks!
Try having a look at JROX and iDev. ;)
Alex Pher 12-14-2007, 03:01 PM You can contact Affiliate Guide - really nice people. You can also view resources on their site.
Atarim 12-16-2007, 07:32 PM idevaffiliate works nicely and is supported just as nicely, in our experience.
Vinayak_Sharma 12-17-2007, 06:07 AM If you want it for your hosting business I think WHMCS has that feature inbuilt checkout http://www.whmcs.com/fullfeatures.php
infinite_in 12-18-2007, 02:44 AM Affiliate program works if you've a popular brand.
~ServerPoint~ 12-18-2007, 03:58 AM Affiliate program works if you've a popular brand. Also sometimes it works if you have nice good service or product which is in requisition. ;)
bithost(NET) 12-18-2007, 04:33 AM I've been very happy with JROX's JAM (http://jam.jrox.com/features/).

rllunzmann 12-18-2007, 01:52 PM i'll have to check out each opinion. Basically the most important part would be to track our customer's who have referred people. Would their be some sort of code snipet inserted in their site? I would presume so, in one way or another.
Another important part would be:
Having the client the ability to login to their affiliate panel to see how many people they have referred and the amount of money they have made.
Thanks for all the opinions i'll have to check them all out. But let me know if there is one particular program that out weighs the others.
Thanks,
Atarim 12-18-2007, 04:03 PM What you're looking for is probably offered by all affiliate software; it's the basics of affiliate management. Yes, the affiliates put their tracking code in their links, and/or images, and your software will let them log in and track their referrals.
kolakandeee 01-03-2008, 11:59 AM i would go with http://jam.jrox.com/features/
rationale 01-07-2008, 03:32 PM You might want to look into PostAffiliate Pro 3.. Have heard good reviews about them..
rllunzmann 02-12-2008, 10:47 PM I keep hearing things about jrox, should i go with them?
rationale 08-03-2008, 12:24 PM I use the built-in WHMCS affiliate system and it works great.. If you're in the hosting industry I definitely recommend it..
VidiJoe 08-06-2008, 12:37 PM Have you ever considered using a 3rd party solution such as ShareASale.com ?
I personally prefer third party solutions so they handle the cutting of cheques and all payments.
ECSuite_Russell 08-06-2008, 02:55 PM I don't know if it's an option for your product but some processors have affiliate systems built in. Clickbank has a decent sized network, CCBill has a huge amount of affiliates, Digital River has something akin to an affiliate partner program for software and so on.

hostingvince 08-12-2008, 06:53 AM Anybody used JVManager v1 ?
Seems popular although there is a new very expensive upgrade now called Fatasos.
