The only way to it, is by visiting this link (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File_Transfer_Protocol). Peace, WebDesignGold 12-13-2007, 12:32 PM bluefish-hosting.. are you a webhost?! When I started into the hosting business, I didn't even know what the difference between HTML/HTM files was. Peace,There's a big difference between not knowing what file formats are and the protocols used to transfer them. It's perfectly legitimate that you could own a hosting business, and as the owner, not have in-depth knowledge regarding technology. That's what your staff is for. But FTP is about as basic as it gets. You're not going to be able to have an intelligent conversation about your business if you don't know the basics, no matter how big or how small you are! If you're asking these questions, that means you're not qualified to run a hosting business. Learn, then operate, not the other way around. It's good that people ask these things! It's scary when the person asking is trying to make a profit from the industry prior to having this knowledge. Besides, there IS NO difference between HTML and HTM files. That was a trick statement ;) |
