Guys,
not to be part of the debate, but:
fdcserver's business is providing huge amounts of bandwidth for ridiculously low rates.
It's Cogentco ONLY but from what I've constantly read here, it's almost never down.

Well, I'm sure Bummer will correct me if I'm wrong.

Peace out.

Yes It`s Cogent only at the moment but in September becoming multihomed using Yipes pipes. And our pricing will remain the same

Is there any way you can

1. provide me with an ETA of when you will go multi-homed
2. provide me with a WRITTEN guarantee that you will actually have the bandwidth multi-homed on the promised time schedule (I don't just sign contracts for promises that aren't confirmed in writing)
3. do somthing about the set-up fee, such as spread it over 3 months if we sign a contract for a minimum of three months?

<<MOD NOTE: Other posts have been removed>>

Have a nice day!

For the rest - the deal seems great, and for the little children on this forum, why don't you try www.playskool.com?

Have a nice day!

1. I know it will be in december but don`t have exact date.

2. No we can`t but you can ask for refund for entire lenght of you service if we don`t

3. We don`t do contracts, FDC is month to month only

Okay - as for the full refund if you don't provide multi-homed bandwidth in let's say January, can you confirm in writing, we will receive the full refund then?

I'm interested - just doing the math at this moment.

David.

I said FDC will be multihomed in September and September that is so if you sign up this month and we are not multihomed by the September 30th you can request your August+September monthly fees + your setup back

unmetered bandwidth?

what datacenter do you use?

Some people that offer unmetered bandwidth seem to be trust worthy and genuine while others don't. I have to make sure I pick a trustworthy person :)

They r good in provising support. Specially they go one step higher to work with u as compare to other companies who says we will charge u for extra work. Heheheh once i made them install Os on my box upto 6 times cause each time with different CP and they didnt complaint. Recently upgraded the server and was done with in 1/2 hr . just w8ing for extra memory now :)

5mb is also 100mbit its guaranteed 5mbit plus on that there r 20 server per 100mb. in standard 100 i dont know how many

FDCservers.net dies very frequently

Last time you stated that you had Network Scheldule Maintenance

so what causes DOWNTIME this time now ???

It has been DOWN for more than 3 hours

Monitoring the website will not give you any idea about the the network uptime because we take our webserver down ourselfs at least 3 times a week. If you monitor router`s IPs of our 5 different circuits than you`ll get a better idea of the network status and history.

Yes there was a downtime earlier today on one older subnets, where we allow shell hosting where the router got DOSed and which affected about 30 servers.
It in no way affected any of our new circuits

:( so you don't take care of your old Servers anymore, and let them get downtime frequently like that :(

Have you had anyway to prevent futher trouble happened ???

Hic :(

FDCservers were nothing but problems - Dont expect any type of customer service when your server is up.

I havent found too many things to be happy with. :(

Business partner of mine decided to go with FDCServers.net and it is a misstake I really regret. Downtime for hours at a time with little to no response from fdcservers.net or kingcomp. Im not sure what your most recent problems where but they caused us significant downtime to the point where we are now on Rackshack of all places. Guess there just isnt a good way to go unless you colo yourself.
