Is anybody out there actually use this control panel?

It's look's very nice, nice features, nice layout, price is good.

But I wonder, how control panel is really working under 24/7 term's.

How hard/easy is to install it on server?

Any advice or exp that you have and you can share with me would be nice. On email, here, or ICQ. (you have it in "my profile")

Regards,
Ivan

Our company has been using it for about 2-3 months now.. (we helped them in the development and beta phases).
Due to their low pricing our profits have increared and since we linked our own old billing (modernbill) and support systems to the cp we dident have to shift all of the records to a new system!

I have not tried their public release verison but i expect it to be good!

Nice to know there is one more cp out there. From demo, the cp seems to be very easy to manage.

no problem kunal.

freeva, we are still pushing them to make it more "idiot proof", so stay put :) they have "big" plans...

I would have to say it doesn't look anywhere near webcp (url: http://webcp.can-host.com ). It looks more like that skin from CPanel.
I don't like the color sheme.

:) i just saw webcp and its completely diffrent... I personally dont like the look of the Command Matrix... but I was told they will have a few "skins" out in a week.

Lot of noise and no real user comments...Any real user out there who have downloaded installed & tried the CP. how does it goes..what about server loads..memory usage...can some one post the info

Arsalan

1. it does not effect server loads much since it basically only comes into use when a user comes to use it..
2. they recommend 1 mild usage site per 1 mb ram
3. their trial version was expected to be out on the 8th.. Cant see it right now, but it should be out with in a few days. You should test it your self when its out..

This is a good CP and all, but they don't have mysql or phpmyadmin. I mean thats not good. does anyone know when they are going to add that, and DNS stuff??

Thanks

and DNS stuff??

Doesn't it support DNS??

And does it have a billing system? If so which payment gateways does it integrate with?

They support bind! and mysql is already in the works as is apparent from their site...

It offers the ability to link to your own billing system, which works gr8 for us since we use modern bill (as the billing system) and cpanel (for unix hosting).

We have been using hsphere for about 10 months now.. its a good control panel and all, but to offer windows hosting we had to run atleast 2 servers and on top of that change our plans so that it would be compatible with their billing system... in reality running 2 billing systems is was real headache, and managing resold clients was even a bigger hassle, this is the main reason why we are slowly switching over to the Command Matrix.

Well till now all I could see are the comments of Arsalan ..who by chance has helped them to build the CP...any other users who have tried the CP..

We've installed a 30 day trial of the command matrix control panel. So far, it's been pretty good. Pretty much the only thing I can complain about so far is no MySQL and the ugly colors... brown...

Anyway, they're apparently integrating MySql and skinning ability within a month, so we'll see how that goes. We are going to do some more testing on it and move some clients over that offered to test it out. Only time will tell, but so far I can't complain... :cartman:

I heard they will have some really nice skins out in a week...

Yes, I've heard the same! Can't wait to see them. Shouldn't be hard to fix the ugly colors, I mean just change the brown to blue and grey. (I did a quick demo of what it would look like, check it out on their forums).

Anyway, I think they are VERY close to having the ultimate win2k control panel. The next few months should be very promising!

I purchased Command MAtrix a week ago. In that week is's been patched twice and it still won't work for me. I've sent e-mails to support on a couple issues (like the backup not working) and they've been quick to respond but they still can't tell me why my sites keep going down randomly. All my CM created sites collapse every hour or two but the ones not created with CM stay up.

Same thing happend to us when we inititally were testing their beta release. It seems their "security" patches arent working with some server configurations, but i am sure they will have your server fixed soon as they did ours. I guess its because its a new software :(

So you had the same problem? Could you tell me what type of server configuration you had and what they did to fix it or what you had to change?

I'd REALLY apreciate any info I can get.

Well we gave them access to our servers via PCANYWHERE and they fixed it. I think it had something to do with our server admin creating sites manually....

I suggest you give them access to your server and they shall fix the problem for you with in hours...

Hmmm... they have access to my server and I've still been waiting five days for just an e-mail response on the problem. Any other issues were resolved/responded to very quickly. I've sent 4 e-mails on this one and nothing yet.

We apologize for the delayed response.

P.S. When we tried to access your server, we found that the password hand changed :(

I just wanted to let every one know that support did contact me today and solved all my problems.

Also, the specific problem I was having has now been solved in a patch.

The support for Command Matrix is really good. I'm sure I'd never get this level of support anywhere else. They took the time to log in to my machine and spent about an hour fixing everything, even some stuff I'd messed with trying to get it to work myself.

They r preety good with support. They applied patch for me also but still the etrPSrv.exe stops.
Well mostly when u try to modify the plan.

Good thing i like about them is that they are fast real fast in bringin the patch. They did some beta with nexus however i guesss nexus was using almost same kind of server which other people may have. One of the factor is Processor and service patches.

Overall its a very good CP compare for the pricing. They still need to do a lot of improvement like implementing internal billing system etc etc.

Second thing i like is that they Acknowledges a problem unlike other who keep saying no our sw are fool proof.

So far i liked it didnt put any client like real one to try but i send them few bug traq and they were quick enough to resolve it.

They should have 99% of the errors out by the time they get to v 1.1

Honestly speaking they should make version like 1.3.1 instead of from .4 to .5
just like linux does.
One thing i like about them which is way cool is they r using BIND.

As far as these issues i understand things do go wrong and they bring in the patch fairly quick. I m sure they will definatly have lot of market once there SQL and other stuff is out
;) .
Atleast i like it better then ensim. My moto is as long as it works. Sites which are already created i ve no problem with them its just new sites i m ving small issues with which they r trying to work out and see :)

If you are waiting to get a CP and w8ing for CM to fix everything dont be. Its worth it the way it is. Few bugs i agree but hey if stupid MS can have tons of bugs in there so called multi million softwares this is small. I m looking forward to have some more kewl features . They say docs will be out very soon :)

:) quicksols, they have v1.04 out, not v 1.4...
