I am thinking of joining one of those two hosts but I thought i'd ask for people who know about them to give me any comments e.g. positive/negative..

They have a great reputation and Gary and the crew are a very knowledgable and friendly bunch. Give them a go. You won't regret it. :agree:

I transfered my site to Myacen several months ago because I was unhappy with my previous host. I've been VERY pleased with their service. They provide very prompt, professional service and are constantly improving things.
When I signed up, my attitude was "well, it's so cheap I may as well try it". I'm glad I did -- more features and better service than before for half the price. The support forums at Myacen have a great deal of information -- great place to find out more about it. One of the adminstrators is usually lurking there to answer questions promptly as well.
I don't have any personal experience with AussieHosts.com, but you can't go wrong with Myacen.

I don't know anything about AussieHosts, but I'm hosted with Myacen and I'm very happy with them. Low prices, great tech support and nice speeds :)

I've been with AussieHosts for about a year now and have 5 accounts on various plans of theirs ranging from the lowest plans to the higher ones and have never been happier.

They're certainly the best host I've ever been with and any questions I've had have been answered promptly.

Gary and the team provide great service. If you choose them you won't regret it.

As for Myacen - I don't have any experience with them so I couldn't comment.

I dunno about Aussiehosts...recently MyAcen got a few gripes back recently mainly on the tech suppport altitude (their hosting is good, support speed is fast , but somehow in lack of patience as told by users on my forum) So if you are going to rely on customer support a lot, try contact them to see if you feel comfortable talking to them first :D

I've been a lurker here for quite a while, thats how I found Myacen, thru these forums.

I recently moved a domain over to Myacen and have been very happy with the support. As every host set up is different, some things that worked on my old host did not work at Myacen. Robert spent the time researching the problem and came up with several solutions. I've been with alot of different hosts, but have never had that kind of support before.

BTW I haven't seen any untoward attitude in the Forums.

Myacen has a very good trouble ticket system set up with amazingly quick response times.


I started out with their lowest cost option, so that if there were problems no great loss....so if I get this terrific support for the lowest cost option I'd say this is one great host!!

I don't think anyone could go wrong with Myacen. I can't comment on AussieHosts, don't have any experience with them.

I switched to myacen several months ago. Maybe myacen is not the cheapest company out there, but myacen is definitely the best hosting company i hv ever had.
If you want to have a good support from the hosting company, i would suggest you to give myacen a try. :D
In addition, you can not only receive help from myacen staff but also the myacen users. It's just like a big family and users are helping each other.

After doing some research and asking a few questions on their forums, I signed up with Myacen a few days ago. Though I can't say much from personal experience yet, I feel that I made a very good choice. :D

I've been with Myacen for 5-6 months now, and I can say that I'm happy with them. When I first signed up, it was a different story, though (mainly because I was a novice webmaster and paranoid/nervous as heck b/c I didn't have a clue, and knew it, LOL)...but in the end, it was ALL for the best.

I hooked up with Myacen (unknown to me) immediately before they experienced a major growth spurt that shook things up for "old settlers" for a minute or two, but we survived and ended up with a better service, and some sweet deals in the process (tee hee hee :D) to make up for our inconvenience.

Well, since then, Myacen has undergone a few other changes in the areas of pricing, plan offerings, support options, better servers, etc...and I can honestly say that I'm glad I stuck with them through the 'growing pains'. It's all been for the BEST for everyone involved!

The forums are fast and friendly, and the clients all try to help each other where possible to keep Robert and team freed up to tend to keeping all of our sites up, LOL. One of my fellow clients spent a lot of time with me via IM to help me set up a CMS...from Australia!

I highly recommend Myacen.
