Hi.

I guess everybody knows already the communication problems that occured with webexpose in the last month. You just have to SEARCH the topic "webexpose" on this forum.
Now I have entered the site and relized that it has been bought by Cosmotek.
Does anyone have any information about this new company.
Does anyone have any comments about new support policy?
Is there any customer that still work with them here?

Thank you

Leonardo

btw - I would check out centralinfo.net or shanje.com (down time lately, might want to wait) as a substitute for now. The prices are a lot better than the one I saw you mention on another thread. I also use ecui.com. They are great. I use them for my most important sites, if possible. Centralinfo and ecui have most everything that webexpose had but mysql. Both have good control panels and support. Ecui also has phone support and good prices for domain names.

yes, I'm still with ECUI, no problems at all.

I'm also testing sharpwebservices.com and lfchosting.com, both got good reviews, but lfc gives current customers a $5 credit for good reviews, so you have to take 'em with a grain of salt. Both have provided good support, both are willing to install any components you may need, and both are really cheap for the service and features that you get.

- a couple more notes:

I'm leaving centralinfo.net, their servers or connection seem slow all the time.

Cosmotek.net isn't a bad option. They have an awesome control panel, their service and up time has been good for the last couple months, but I'm still not completely confident in them, I'm still sour over their ugly ugly ugly transition from webexpose to cosmotek. But, if you want to give your customers a great control panel, then I would strongly recommend them. The file permissions, ftp/email account control is a+.

I can recomend ECUI (have some friends hosted @ them) - they have good prices and *real* 24/7 support. Very responsible company. Shanje's prices are good for resellers, but i've seen some posts about lack of support... Webexpose/cosmotek's control panel looks really cool, but I don't have any direct experience with them. It seems that the company (cosmotek) is providing a good service now, but ask some customers before signing with them.
