It looks like I will be getting a Dedicated server Ensim 1 GHz Intel Celeron/512 MB RAM/40 GB disk: from http://www.saburovo.com/ . I see it has Ensim control panel and it looks real nice and easy to use (im using the demo available from site). If I get that server I would really like to be able to CAP the bandwith limit per day. Is it possible? Also what sort of knowledge should I have before buying this server. Thank you all and please help

Basic Unix admin knowlage is always an essential part of any server management.

I'd suggest getting yourself an old pc first, load up linux on it, network it to your regular pc, and spend a lot of time doing admin/user type things with it.

If you break it, software wise, you can easily load it up again with no harm done.

If you don't know much on Linux, you should get a partner to do the admin side of stuff, or at least pay them to help, say a 60/40 split.

Or pay for a certain amount of help.

Get creative! :D

but they include a Control Panel. Isn't that enough?
