I apologize if this is the wrong area to give my feedback but communication is a little on the slow side via email. I'm a beta tester for the DirectAdmin Integration..

1) The sign up process, I thought, was rather confusing. At the end, it asks the user to enter information for [Billing Account] & [Package Information]. Now I ask myself, why? Why go through all that when you can simply make their username to be the subdomain they have chosen? If the user used their own domain, than it would be different none-the-less but I'm more geared towards subdomains... This is off topic but say it were the case, then the system could ask for the [Billing Account] username & password...

2) With that said, the system asks for [package information] but doesn't use it to create the login for DirectAdmin anyhow so it's useless for DA integration and causes confusion.

3) The email templates are still structured for cpanel. Besides, since the ipanel does even use the [Package Information], the email template is null anyhow.

My idea of an automated system is to have the system (ipanel) create the subdomain & user in the DA reseller account. I did my own testing and was able to make subdomain accounts for users manually. They each had their own login into DA. If there is anything else I can add into this to make it more portable towards DA, just let me know. It's a wonderful system so far, just missing some key elements IMO.

1. Not everyone uses only subdomains. Also it asks for a billing account login and also there hosting package login details. Not everyone likes to use the same login for everything, especially when it involves sensitive information.

With that said the system has the ability to have multiple hosting/package accounts. For each one you need to have a separate login for everything from cpanel to da. This makes it necessary to require a login separate incase the user will have more then one hosting account.

2. This was due to a bug that we have since sent you a fix for as it will create the login, ftp accounts ect..

3. The variable for the email welcome templates [http] were made for use when we only supported cpanel. Youc an edit these templates and also when creating a package there is a option to create a custom welcome email for each package where you can not use that variable and enter in the proper url for login ect..

We are working on having these few variables that are only for cpanel server auto detect the server type and enter in the proper url in the specific email templates that will still be able to be edited if needed.

Hope this answers all your questions and comments.

Ok, no problem.

Defo looks like a very nice system, very intrested now, is it possable to intergrate the order form and client center and helpdesk into my current site?

If it is how hard is it and what would it involve?

For integration you only need to edit the header and footer template files to wrap your site design into the template. it's very simple with a little bit of html knowledge. There are a few people here on wht that offer integration services for around $20 i believe.
