I was curious if anyone has made or know of any import scripts for WHMCS to Clientexec. I have been looking at Clientexec lately and feel that the customization as well as some of the upcoming features are promising!

Just curious: which features you like in CE, but WHMCS doesnt have? PogiWeb 12-06-2007, 09:42 AM Well, I recently viewed the new version of clientexec coming up and all I can say is WOW! The other thing is i'm getting kind of tired of seeing everyone using Clientexec and want something unique. PogiWeb 12-06-2007, 01:54 PM Well, I searched on the Clientexec forum and cannot find any information in regards to this. It probably means I should keep with WHMCS :P omega36 12-07-2007, 10:35 PM ...It probably means I should keep with WHMCS :P That's right! :) PogiWeb 12-08-2007, 04:49 PM I contacted Clientexec and they have confirmed they do not have a script at this moment. Nick H 12-08-2007, 07:15 PM I contacted Clientexec and they have confirmed they do not have a script at this moment. ClientExec doesn't have *any* import scripts. People have been requesting them for YEARS but CE just doesn't listen. PogiWeb 12-09-2007, 02:39 PM A support member told me they are currently working with Matt over at WHMCS to make a script... Lpal-Jay 12-09-2007, 03:17 PM A support member told me they are currently working with Matt over at WHMCS to make a script... Did they seriously say that WHMCS are helping to create a script for CE which will lose them clients? I don't buy that. TonyB 12-09-2007, 03:22 PM Did they seriously say that WHMCS are helping to create a script for CE which will lose them clients? I don't buy that. I agree that seems very strange Also if it's true why do they need WHMCS help? They should be able to get a database dump from someone so they know what they need to convert over to their structure. PogiWeb 12-09-2007, 03:22 PM This is the email I received... " Not currently, but the developers were working towards the import script. Regards, Keith" Lpal-Jay 12-09-2007, 04:05 PM This is the email I received... " Not currently, but the developers were working towards the import script. Regards, Keith" Ah, that's suggesting their developers are creating it. But I also interpret it as being quite far down on their list of things to do.. I wouldn't expect it anytime soon. |
