Hi,

I'm looking for a very basic domain+hosting plan for a low end project (my wife's site :P )

There are only 4-5 HTML pages, low traffic, and I need 1 main domain + 2 other domains redirecting to the main domain (for search engines optimization).

What's the best deal I can find ?

Thanks :agree:

What's wrong with Go Daddy? Please share why you dislike them.

Hello there.
Lots of web hosting companies offer deals you are looking for. At the same time I believe that you have web sites hosted somewhere. I think that it would be better for you (even more less expensive) to have wife's sites hosted on your account. Of course if your current web hosting provider allows that.

You should also keep your hosting and your domain separate.

Maybe metalhead does want to let his wife know how much he is spending on domains or give her access to his account.

Personally, I like GoDaddy (despite their foubles). Best CP out their for multiple domains. Reasonable prices. Good support.

;)
On separate accounts (one for web hosting and one for the domains). Because lots of companies offer as domain name registration as web hosting service which are going separately.

I think GOdaddy is over rated, very slow & often buggy interface. They are ok but way over-rated, that is what happens when you drip feed coupons, it becomes a feeding frenzy for fanbois...

godaddy is great for domain registrations but not hosting ... and its a good idea to keep those two separate. I use Dreamhost and have not had any probs. Good luck!!
