I have a client that is thiking of using cold fusion for their site. Thus, they would need a new host. And before anyone tells me, I already searched this site. :)

I was looking for honest feedback on these hosts:

http://www.pwebtech.com - Pegagus

http://www.skynetweb.com - SkyWeb

http://www.intermedia.net - Intermedia

What I am mostly concerned about is support, not on the cold fusion, but the servers in general (ie. the server being down, email not working, etc.).

If anyone else has any suggestions, feel free to post them. I am trying to get my client to use php instead, but someone told them how great cold fusion is, and now they have a bug up their butt to use it.

Thanks,

Alex

Are you looking for a dedicated server or shared. Because skynetweb does dedicated only to my knowledge.

*lol*

well less than 20 minutes to a forum from a cold start is a pretty good recommendation regarding support I'd say re: pwebtech

It might be OT but wasn't Skyweb the guys doing the huge MLM thing a few years ago? Or was it just someone with a similar name?

No, there is a vital difference between SkyPort (http://www.super.nu) (the one with the pyramid/dodgy scheme) and SkyNetWeb (http://www.skynetweb.com), which is a reliable NOC/host.

Ahh ok, suitable apologies to Skynetweb then. :)
