How does OpenSRS work with domain renewals? Do they automatically delete the domain when not renewed on the renewal date or do they automatically renew the domain(s) and charge them to you?

depends if you set-up auto renewal option. You can also configure to warn you before the domain name is about to expire.. they have plenty of options :)

Auto-renew can be set on a per-domain basis.
