Anyone reselling voip? Would like to get some feedback on the voip reseller programs out there..

Is it worth the investment to try and compete with people like timewarner??

Currently reselling VoIP via Varphonex they seem to be really stable and the quality of the service is clear

How simple is the setup and equipment purchases, the sites ive seen doesnt really sale the reseller programs well.. How easy was it for you to get going? (was it costly?)

Sorry for the delay if you are referring to Varphonex, no it was not costly only 200 dollars for a reseller account the service is a bit higher than where you can find at packet8 and other voip but I use it for worldwide and the fact its open sip and the clients can use the service worldwide, they only need the equipment or they can use any softphone , ie x-ten , and make calls immediately according to their plan

How about the setup and the setup for your customers is it a fairly simple process?

yes the setup is really easy the account is usually provisioned within the hour after you sign up for it and everything is in your master control panel

So you dont have to setup any hardware or anything just resale the service through a control panel? Do your customers usually purchase phones from you or just use a virtual dialer of some sort

Setting up the equipment is a piece of cake only 4 things to put into the linksys and they have alot of the configuration guides on their site for almost all the voip equipment out there, if you want you can also sale equipment if you like I can let you know who I get my thru , its a gentlemen out of Canada or if you like you can just sale the services and have them use the softphone, but just to give you a heads up if you are trying to do this in the US market its going to be rough using varphonex as their prices are not competive enough for you to be competive in the US market, thats why I am doing it here in Costa Rica.
