Hello!
I want to install a PHP framework on my server. I am also sort of learning PHP at the moment, though I personally specialize in web design not programming.
Anyhow, I noticed a lot of hosts offer Zend, and few of them offer Cake. However I've also noticed a lot of good reviews about Cake and not as many about Zend?
Which should I be installing?

"The Cake is a lie."
But seriously, Zend is definitely the most popular... I'm guessing largely because of their developers' close relationship with PHP.
I suppose the best way to figure out which is best for you is to figure out what you want to do, then ask "does XYZ allow me to do this?"

Smiked,
I use PHP CodeIgniter, codeigniter.com. I believe it's far better for quickly getting applications up, especially since it has killer documentation. It follows the MVC structure though, so if your unfamiliar with programming it may be a little harder to pick up.

i prefer Eclipse
I believe you mean Eclipse PDT. This is an IDE.
What they are talking about is PHP development framework.
Symfony is also worth a try. Yahoo! uses it heavily.

We are using the Cake framework on the new hostgeekz site so far it's been great to work with. Just my $0.02
