Paint.NET trevhub 11-28-2007, 02:43 PM GIMP is your best bet, can do just about as much as photoshop and its opensource :D superiorhost 11-28-2007, 02:43 PM Free programs without nag screens can be found here: http://nonags.com They should have a number of photo editing programs to choose from. Tim L rmfred 11-28-2007, 06:50 PM I'd suggest the GIMP catfished 11-28-2007, 08:02 PM GIMP if you need a lot of features like PhotoShop has, Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com/) for basic cropping, resizing, enhancing etc. BlueHayes 11-28-2007, 08:05 PM Another vote for the GIMP here, does everything I need it to do :) I wonder if it will work out for you! phplemon 11-28-2007, 08:12 PM It has to be GIMP, you can't really go wrong. I'd probably still use it even if you had to pay for it. Jeffreyw 11-28-2007, 08:14 PM http://fotoflexer.com/ - free online photo editor, "prides itself as the most advanced online photo editor." [hey fotoflexer you should credit me for tagging your site here :D] Snowroses 11-29-2007, 11:38 AM Thanks! That was very helpful! kdesign11 11-29-2007, 04:41 PM Truly Truly, some very useful site links.. Really like one from Jeffreyw Thanks mate .. :) BillBrown 11-29-2007, 04:46 PM GIMP, hands down, FTW, forever and ever, Amen. It's all I've used for the last six years. Edit: I was going to turn this post into something that rhymed. You rush a miracle man, you get rotten miracles. RackSolutions 11-30-2007, 06:54 PM Be a professional, buy the complete Adobe suite and deduct it off your taxes. Tax Deduction = Free <<< Signatures need to be set up in your profile. >>> BillBrown 11-30-2007, 07:00 PM Buying a particular application, especially when there are others available, that cost zero dollars, but accomplish much the same with an acceptable degree, doesn't make one a professional. I don't think that anyone here would say that the Adobe applications are not super awesome but if you can grab the GIMP, learn it and get the job done with it, then by all means go hard. This doesn't make you less of a professional. Bill RackSolutions 11-30-2007, 07:21 PM Talk to your accountant, they will be able to explain it better than I did. Katasdf 11-30-2007, 08:31 PM I'd also recommend GIMP RackSolutions 12-03-2007, 11:11 AM I was completely and totally wrong in my earlier post regarding a tax deduction. |
