Trying to move from my VPS to Dedicated server.
Read few reviews about colostore.com. So far, so good reviews.

Looks like good deal.

Started thinking to place $59.95 - Intel 2.66Ghz, 1GB Ram, 120Gb Drive.
Finally, I selected $89.95 - Xeon 3060, 2.6Ghz, 1GB Ram, 160GB Drive.

Just wanted to give my feedback. The deal looks very good.

On the positive side, the deals looks very good. No hidden cost and they stand by the price quoted. Support is ok level. You will have to send them email or leave voice mail, and they will return soon.

I moved from VPS to Dedicated server option. I took colostore and another hosting company. Since this is cheap and best (as good and as reliable as the other company), I closed the other company and switched to colostore.

Looks like a start-up level company and they reduced the price to grab the market at this holiday season. Hence, grab the opportunity before the deal is over.

I got the server, it is working great.

Due to low cost, low budget option, we will not get any control panel unless you pay extra. Colostore is mainly windows based systems. However, they also support Linux based. I ordered Linux and got it within 12 hours. There is no free control panel. They would have implemented some free open source control panel like webcp or webmin.

Overall, I am satisfied and going to continue with them as it is well within my budget.

Do you have 24/7 onsite support?
Any details about upstream provider.

Support has always been very quick for me. Jay is very helpful, even though these are self managed servers he's been able to point me in the right direction when something goes wrong.

When I had a kernel panic on the box after I installed some OS updates Jay gave me access to the KVM port so I could work on fixing the issue. I ended up reinstalling the entire OS via a USB/DVD he setup for me after I was unable to resolve the issue. The few times I've had to contact them I've gotten a response within 10 minutes. They also offer a toll free number you can use, and there is an after hours option when you call.

The two major providers they use are Level3 and WVFiber.

I confirm their support is solid and quick. I had a server with them for almost two years.
