Come to the UK and just before you leave to go back home go into some shop and steal all you like..

On the radio scanner two spanish girls just got caught stealing and they have been let off.

Two of the girls took £28 worth of goods and are in Edinburgh until the end of the month so they have been let free..

Disgusting..

And just to add to that i have to say about 1 persons check out of every 100 is a wanted person.

Either there known or not known or unwanted.

Regee checks get a better result though but when a cars burnt out it's pretty obvious it's stolen.

See after 12AM on weekdays all you hear of when some officers wanting a persons check is 1980 something because as soon as you see a teenager out early in the morning they are there to cause trouble which is usualy true but it spoils it for every other teenager who maybe just needs to go to Alldays for some juice or something..

There's this small night club and there's always trouble there every night, I think it's called "the locast" well it sounds like that but maybe it's not spelled that way..

Or they sometimes say no trace instead of unknown.

Man, when I was in Edinburgh it seemed like a mellow place. Well, I was there so i guess that's an oxymoron. :D

the UK has some weird ass laws. I was watching a documentary on pick pockets and they followed a group of detectives around the subway that watch out for pick pockets. They picked up this 9 or 10 year old girl and she had 58 friggin arrests... she *knows* she's a pick pocket and is proud of it yet according to your law she's underage and innocent.... so they had to release her to her parents.... I mean come on how fooked is that.....

I a know daniel a know but what can we do about it? except from get criminals names off scanners then put them on the web for all to see including there mothers. I would say fathers also but since allot of crimes are father and son done i'll not bother.

Heck, we do the same thing in the U.S. That's why the little car thieves floor it when the cops catch them in a stolen car .. may as well run and have some fun, they'll be released in the morning.

Well America still have the better system but it's still not good enough..

I'm not surprised. Being in Edinburgh for most of a month is more than enough punishment for such petty theft. :D

Heheheh... ok ok so I'm not gunna say we don't have some weird local laws.

Remember every state, city, and county can have its own little laws. I take no responsibility for some of the laws we have on the books in the south... i.e. no spitting infront of ladies etc.... heh
