Leonardo,

You probably haven't had a reply as no-one is using them here (or has heard anything about them). In fact the only reason I post myself is regarding an observation on their website.

There logo at the top left mentions being "A division on Netstorefront". That *should* be "A division OF Netstorefront" It's a minor thing really but maybe you should factor that into your decision. ie. they seem to have missed some of the finer details of their own site, maybe they'll miss some details looking after your business.

To me, it would affect my opinion of them.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I know that probably nobody has heard about this guys. I am not saying here in the forum people ignore me, but could happen that someone is out for a while or new member. That's why I post this several times. (three till now)
I need this info cause I am running out from webexpose and finesthost looks good.

That's a good point (home page error). I agree with you.
Since I have no information, that would be something.
Anyway I'll try to find something else.

Thank you

Leonardo

Why not ask him/them some questions about his/their buisness? You should get some idea about it just from the first reply.

Haakon,

you make a good point. If you can develop a relationship of sorts with a potential host before you sign up, it's usually a good sign of things to come. If you get friendly, informed responses, you're well on your way. If on the other hand it's three days and single line answers, you're probably best to avoid them.

Actually I have an admission to make regarding my pose earlier about the 'typo' on their website. No sooner had a mentioned it, than within an hour I got a message sent to me pointing out a typo of my own *blush* I guess even anal retentive's like myself get it wrong at times... Thankfully it was only on a 'specials' graphic which has ended now anyway. :)

Spell check not lest ye be spell checked ;)

Some errors happen to the best of us. I'm an excellent speller yet make frequent typographical errors, often transposing letters. Often even the use of a spell checker won't pick up such mistakes as they are valid words also. For instance, transposing r and o to write form instead of from, fro (as in to and fro) instead of for.

Also, my fingers don't always seem to type the words my brain thinks of. Sometimes (a bit too often for my tastes) I read something I wrote and think "how did that word get in there, that's not correct grammar". I think the answer must be gremlins. Maybe it's PC (poltergesit culprits)

Duster,

I know what you mean. In this case it was a 't' pretending to be an 'l'. Oddly enough I made the exact same mistake in the advertising forum here - must have been one of those nights. Sadly the trusty spell checker couldn't help me on that one. It was hard wired as a graphic.

And yes, I get the or, ro thing mixed up too at times... Must be a genetic quirk a lot of us have.

Ventures online

I moved to them recently and theyre fantastic. The best I've used yet.

Tech support is generally extremely fast and knowlegable.

Uptime is excellent (and true), as to speed, check out their servers and network spec.

Their packages are better and cheaper too.#

I had alengthy q&a series of emails with them before signing up and they were totally quick, friendly and helpul.

Yes, I'ts (Ooops, a misstype error ;-) a good sign to get kind responses. But I'll inform you that webexpose started like that. I got soon answers (within two hours) and kindly covered all my requests. That's why I need info from somebody that has some time working with them.
If you - search - in this forum topics with "webexpose" you'll realize that too many people fell in that trick.

Thank you. They look good, but unfortunately I am looking for NT, ASP, SQL hosting.

Leonardo

PD: If you see typing errors, that doesn't mean I am an not a pro (which I am not anyway ;-). I am just a spanish speaker making my best to make me understand.

Yes, if the miss the finer details of their site, will they miss the final details of your invoice?
