I have installed MySQL and will use it. However, I would like to access an Access database or other ODBC sources. Do I need to install MyODBC for this?

It's depend where you want to access MYSQL, if it's UNIX plat form application then you may be you don't need myodbc, but for window platform application you need Mysql ODBC to access your database. i.e if you running winbase application you need odbc.
