I know for a surfer going to a site and seeing 10 different ads, makes me not want to click on any of them. Seems like a pretty clean design. akashik 03-02-2001, 11:56 AM Kevin, First things first. It doesn't fit on my screen (800x600). There's about an inch of overlap to the right so I have to scroll. Seeing as that's still about 80% of browsers that's a lot of people scrolling. Other than that it looks pretty good. The upper left log is nice. It actually *looks* like a logo is a big step :) The black text gets a little rough over the red though (jaggies), but those two colors seem to do that a lot together anyway. Personally I'd lose the double line border. Sure it's CSS, but it still looks like the good old days of <border=""> The links in that table may be better as grey - bit too much red for my liking. Maybe <size="2"> as well so people like myself don't have to scroll down for info. You should try to get all your important info above the fold of the page (which at a higher res probably does anyway). Hmm. That's about it I suppose. In all, it's pretty good. I think it just needs a little polish Greg Moore klisis 03-02-2001, 12:06 PM Hmm, I don't know. I think you should enchant your content design. |
