I'd just like to pass on a friendly note that the virtual hosting section of Effect Online, LLC is now open for virtual hosting.
Just a few details about the service.
Your hosting accounts will be placed on the following server.
Dual Athlon MP 2000's with two 36gb scsi's in a raid1 (mirrored) configuration and 2gb of ram. Your data is backed up to a separate ide disk within the server. Within a month or two we will be adding a separate tape backup system, which will be the third and final layer of backups for your data.
We will place no more than 300 accounts per server and will always have no less than one spare server on hand for client expansion so that we place no more than the targeted amount of clients onto the server.
We keep a hot spare on hands at all times so we can have the server back up and operational within 30mins of any hardware failure by just swapping the drives out into the spare sitting ready.
We are located directly in the NAC datacenter (direct, not via any reseller of NAC services).
As well as offering cpanel with all of our packages we offer instant setups upon clearance of your initial payment and a billing/support interface so you can see past and due invoices and make payments. We follow the policy of not keeping your credit card information on file as it is an un-necessary risk.
All servers are monitored 24/7 from an off site server located on rackspace.com's network. We keep the billing software and main site on this server as well to ensure that we are always reachable incase something were ever to happen to NAC however we have the utmost confidence in the datacenter that we are located in.
