View Full Version : Need reseller account (not ResellerZoom or Hostgator)
minipro 11-16-2007, 08:10 AM I am tired of downtime/other issues at ResellerZoom, Hostgator doesn't allow over-selling.
Please suggest some other good, reliable reseller.
Budget not a problem
Need cPanel+Fantastico and WHM
Good support (I know, this is pretty subjective)
End-user support and billing software not a must, but would be nice
TIA
~ServerPoint~ 11-16-2007, 08:32 AM What about bandwidth and space?
minipro 11-16-2007, 08:34 AM Currently about 10 GB with 200 GB should be fine. I will test before I buy more.

What is your monthly budget?
iHubNet-Matt 11-16-2007, 10:38 AM As you have an open budget I would suggest you to avoid overselling hosts. You need to keep in mind that you will get for what you pay.
So go through the forum and make a list that you think will fit into your requirements. Avoid oversellers and consider the factors like uptime statistics, response times, level of customer support etc.
Don't go for a package offering more even if the price is same. look for a package that is correct fit for you.
minipro 11-17-2007, 05:23 PM @IH-Rameen: I have no restriction on monthly budget. Of course, no one will pay $100 for a 10GB a/c :P But this is not deciding factor. I want reliable service. I am ready to pay more for that.
@iHubNet-Matt: Overselling is useful mainly for generating good hosting packages. You surely know how competitive hosting business is. ;) I am confused about which good host fits my requirements and therefore this thread.
Can someone please suggest a service provider?
I got a link to http://www.adakist.com/ from the forum. Anyone having any experience about the service provider?
PremiumHost 11-18-2007, 09:24 PM I did not see any reviews about adakist before.
Most hosting providers do not offer "test before buy" but there's "money back guarantee"
You can try this link (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/hostquote.php) to request quotes from hosting providers.
minipro 11-19-2007, 11:49 AM Thanks for the link. I have used it and requested for quotes. :)

ZoneServ.com 11-19-2007, 04:18 PM Hey mate,
I really suggest you take a look at the advertising section here on WHT.
So many providers I am sure you will find something to your liking.

But remember this is a free board, so it contains mosly low budget companies..among a few reputalbe ones. That doesnt mean the small companies are automatically bad, but you can't be sure since there are so many. I'm sure several have no experience, etc. The Best way to find good rated companies would be to check review and voting services.

The fact that WHT is free is only an advantage.
After he finds something he likes he can easily search the forums for reviews.
minipro 11-20-2007, 05:03 AM @kokev21: Jaguarpc has shared hosting and VPS. I am looking for reseller packages which comes somewhere in between the two.
I have read reviews/opinions. But there is no over-whelming response in favour of a host. If I get 8 +ve and 2 -ve responses, I will go for a host. But there is not a single host like that. :(
rgpayne 04-05-2010, 03:34 AM There are several options, including VPS, reseller accounts depending on usage. JixHost, DesignShrineHost, and 1n1 depending on what panel you want
