We've got four of these servers wasting power in our cabinet and it is about time to have someone make some use out of them.
This is our first venture into providing anything but shared hosting, but we're selling these servers as semi-managed meaning that we'll be monitoring them along with our own servers to ensure their reliability.
The server's specifications are as follows:
Dell PowerEdge 1750
2x Intel Xeon 2.8ghz
2GB RAM
2x 33.6GB 10kRPM SCSI SCA
1,000GB of transfer, peering with Level3, AboveNet, and Qwest
$150/mo, no set up fee.
Why should you use AngryHosting? We're not looking to be the next big dedicated server host. The recipients of these servers will be our 'special' clients and they'll be taken care of accordingly. Our servers are located in one of the best, well equipped datacenter buildings in Los Angeles, with N+2 power availability, cooling, and connectivity.
Along with the server, you can receive all of the benefits that our shared hosting plans include such as nightly backups, high-performance SQL hosting, DNS, email, etc. You can choose to use any of the other services that we provide in addition to your servers if you like -- you're not forced to run everything on your own unless you want to.
If you purchase two or more servers, we can add them to our hardware load balancers for no additional cost.
We can install CentOS 3, 4 or 5, and FreeBSD 5 or 6 32-bit on these servers. If you require a different flavor of linux/unix, just let us know.
