Stuck on what software to use.
I need to setup an ecommerce site with products that are 3 levels deep.
Category -> Manufacturer -> Type and then several products under this.
My supplier recommended this,
"The best way to set up the site is to have the server with all the data and have active server pages with all of the products relating to one type on the same page. This way the site would build the pages on demand."
I also need to update the entire product catalog everyday from a csv datafeed file.
I tried OSCommerce but had problems with the templating system and didn't like the long checkout process. I then tried a yahoo merchant store account, but it's too limited as far as database access goes.
