Anybody who uses google adsense saw this taxpayer info application. Has anybody completed it? I am a U.S. Citizen, but I want to know will anything be sent to my house when I give my address? Or simply, do they take money out of my payment?

Thanks. I rather not get anything to my residence, as I got in trouble with my brother as he owns my place. He hates when my name shows up at his place,

Not sure if they still do this but you they send you a numerical PIN number by mail you have to use to activate your account.

Nothing gets sent home :) It's for their Internal Tax purposes, since they're paying you. They have to take out an applicable amount of taxes (I believe) when they pay you.

I don't think they'll take out the tax for you. You'll either get like a mini W-2 form, or you'll have to include it in your Misc Income when filling taxes. Either way you look at it, it's for paying taxes. ;)

BTW if they do send you a w-2, it will be in a cool Google envelope. lol

I've had another person tell me

"Yes. This is a paper tax form mailed to your home when it's time to pay taxes. "

So which is correct?

If you make over $600 (I think) in one year you will recieve a 1099 in the mail at the end of the year...If I remember correctly .

If I do not, then I do not receive anything, I assume? I do not expect to make nearly half of that =]

Not totally true, I received mail from Google AdSense. A welcome letter and a coupon for free AdWords. This was snailmail, not electronical.

I find a new publisher a bit like Adsense-Widgetbucks.

WidgetBucks is a shopping widget that you can place on your website or blog. You earn money every time someone clicks on it.Widgets come in a range of sizes and can be customized to different colors. They will also let you target 13 different categories (each category has sub categories) if you choose to manually set them - but will let you run it in a ‘contextual’ mode...
