I arghed for two reasons. 1. Because my computer crashed hard last night. Had to reformat, very annoying.

2. Because I'm really tired of people like Brent Bozell trying to tell us what to watch and what not watch. The guy is rediculous anymore. I would post a link to the PTC Website (www.parentstv.org) but it's down for maintance, so you can read it here at another site. (Not mine BTW) http://www.knowyournews.com/report080302.html

I have heard so many people say their computer crashed and they had to format. I have had a computer 5 years now, and never had that experience.

What exactly happens? and how do you know you have to format?

I'm not exactly sure what happened but I'll try to explain. I was just browsing the web, chatting on IM and the thing just locked up. I did a hard reboot and when it went to load windows it said something like "windows could load. This was caused by either not enough memory or something." So I booted up in safe mode and it tried to find all my device drivers again. It couldn't. Then when I logged into it said something like "enom/startup/something could be corrupted and was not loaded." So I then went into MsConfig and changed it so it wouldn't load win.ini, system.ini and the VxD files on startup to see if I could fix it that way. Nope still wouldn't work so I just reformatted.
