Hi,
I was just wondering if cyberpixels and pixelseven are partners or if they are the same company under different names?
Just curious cause when I looked at cyberpixels website it said they had partnered with pixelseven, and when I looked at the statistics page on pixelseven the servernames looked like they were the same as cyberpixels. Maybe they just put their resellers on cyberpixels servers or something, or are they share servers??? Maybe just coincidence or something?

No, I don't think so. PixelSeven is operated by a guy called Sean, I will ask him when I next see him on MSN, but he hasn't mentioned any connection with CyberPixels to me, of course that doesn't mean there isn't one.

CyberPixels is proud to announce a new partnership with PixelSeven WebHosting. All reseller hosting will now be done through PixelSeven's superb hosting services. Listed are the updated reseller hosting plans. For further information, feel free to contact either CyberPixels or PixelSeven. They are not the same company, but I do believe they have some partnership agreement. I've also heard that sometimes Sean (from PixelSeven) helps out with support at Cyberpixels. So I suppose they are partners or in some way helping each other out.

CP formed a partnership of sorts with P7. When CP opened it got its server(s) from Pixelseven (semimanaged).
However with the mass amount of shared hosting accounts being setup - it wasnt fair to the resellers to have to compete so to speak. Therefore an arrangement was made with PixelSeven to send anyone who wants to be a reseller for CP to P7 - that way they get more dedicated service from P7 then they would from CP. It was a loss for CP in a way - but at the same time it was better for the client since they would get better service on a server specifically setup for resellers.
From what I've heard from some of the resellers that were moved to P7 - they are quite happy.

CP started with bought a server from P7. Due to the overwhelming responce for shared hosting, CP partnered with P7 and sends all the new resellers accounts to P7. So P7 managers the reseller accounts that come from CP on a dedicated server just for resellers.

Oh thanks was just curious. Because when I looked at the statistics on pixel seven found here http://pixelseven.com/content/traffic.html
It looked like they were showing statistics for a server named water and one named wind, and I thought that was what cyberpixels name their servers, maybe just everyone names them that or is that the name of the network or something?
Wind is our server, but CP had a reseller account on that server ;)
Water is there server, so to speak.
