I saw that here are many experts who already now alabanza well :)

Actually we are Resellers and wanted to know how the prices are directly with alabanza. There are no information on their website so I thought it could be a good idea to ask you all here :)

Basically, Alabanza pricing is as follows:

$895/mo, includes 50GB traffic and 35 Control Panels. Each additional control panel is $1/month. Bandwidth overage is at $10/mo/GB.
Pretty steep!

When we went to our own dedicated servers Alabanza was the first port of call but unfortunately they were just too expensive.

We currently use WHM and CPanel3 and pay half the Alabanza rate with twice the bandwidth and no control panel limitations.
What we don't get is the auto sign up, but we never used that anyway so it wasn't much of a problem.

I don't think Alabanza is worth the money at the moment especially when you can get the set up we have for even less than we pay if you shop around.

Thats what we use.
It works fine and its not very expensive.
Its hard to justify the Alabanza costs.

Well, I know it is hard to justify the Alabanza costs, but some of the reasons why companies are still paying them are as follows:

1. Still the best automation around (until cpanel gets completely automated - very soon)

2. They have accounts that want to be on Alabanza servers

3. They have resellers that want to be on Alabanza servers

I know I am missing out on some things, but if you have enough volume of customers that like the Alabanza CP and automation, it will still be a benefit to using them.

Web Host Manager has the reseller functions as well.
What it does not have is auto sign up, but that is in development.

Lets face it, you can get a basic server with WHM for $200 per month, so Alabanza would need to be a lot better before it was worth it.
For $400 - $600 per month you can get a substantial server running it.

The one thing about WHM is that the quality of the service will depend on the Sysadmin looking after it.
We are fortunate that I can do most things and we have a contract with Burst.net so that with sever problems we have access to their senior sysadmin (he guy who wrote WHM).

In regards to Albanza, I'm still waiting on a quote request I sent in in Dec. actually, sent in 3x..... >_< Other folks I contacted replied within 48 hrs.

In fairness, I also never got a reply back from Exodus either. Guess we're just too small. :)

A lot of current Alabanza hosts, by the way, signed up under pricing that was substantially lower than the current price menioned above. For example, there was a long-running "special" at $400/month for the first year; at that time the regular price was $800.

Alabanza is a the option you would want to go with. There prices are more than ridiculous. There Tech Support and System Admins I believe are after school High School kids. No offense to high schoolers. And there always seems to be a problem occuring constently.
