I am fairly new to webppliance 3.1, and linux. I am in need of a way of having user/reseller accounts automatically created when a client resisters for my service on my web site.
Without this, I will have to create each account by hand every time a new client wants to use my service as well as whenever they want to change service plans. eg. they may want to purchase more web space, or get more features.
I was just wondering where I can find information on this, or some help... thanks.
Auto reseller accounts would be difficult.
But, regular accounts isn't that difficult.

I was thinking that I may have to somehow get my webpage to control some of the webppliance command line scripts...
One of the webppliance command line scripts is "AddVirtDomain" by using this script as root, I can configure service for a new client. How do I get a web page to run this script? or is there a better way?

Hello,
I would probably have to recommend using the CBM (Customer Billing Module) (formerly known as RAS- Reseller Addon Suite) available through any ServerXchange host. This will enable exactly what you are looking for.
Take care,
Dennis

Here is a list of other billing solutions that work with Ensim:

I don't know much about most of them, but I have read positive reviews of ModernBill on here. (Do a search and see for yourself).
