I've sent 3 sales enquiries to budget reseller through the contact form on their website and had no response.

what's going on there? does it usually take weeks to answer a potential customer?!

Not good!

What's the old saying, "The lights are on, but no ones home."

If they're the budget reseller I'm thinking of have you tried using the live chat on their web site? Maybe they are responding to your sales inquiries and your mail service flagging them as spam or something of that nature.

I'm trying that, thanks tony. but so far:
"There are no operators available at the moment. If you would like to leave a message, please type it in the input field..."

They have gone through a big transition in ownership as of late and so these types of problems are expected. Sales is usually always low priority as priority needs to be given to any issues and tasks that need to be completed immediately to prevent disruption to existing clients..

I remember the new owners posted here. I'm not sure what thread it was, maybe you or someone else can dig it up and get in touch with them..

Once you have 5 posts, you can PM their representative here: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/member.php?u=179634

Hopefully you'll get an answer.

Just a reminder not to post fluff to reach your needed 5 posts:

You must make five (5) posts before utilizing the PM and system e-mail features or viewing member profile information. If you choose to make meaningless posts to circumvent this restriction, your account will be disabled.http://www.webhostingtalk.com/rules.php

Obviously their support system is not sending out response emails as I finally have been able to find out if anything had been done for my support request.

I do remember them posting here but one of the issues I have with some companies is that they do not take the time to notify potential customers of delays and issues.

Its not hard to update your website and let people know of a transition and expected delays. Even better put a notice up telling people you are not accepting new customers at the moment since this type of customer service isn't going to win you new customers anyway.

taku,

I PM'd Marc L the new owner of BudgetReseller.com with this thread URL.

Hopefully BR doesn't go down the $#@! like SonataWeb.net did.

Hi,

We made some security changes. These changes affected the ability of our support site to send reply emails. We have made the necessary changes to the support site. I have done numerous tests from emails address on and off our servers to ensure the flow of emails from our site to our customers.

We are extremely sorry for the errors and inconvenience caused to all customers and potentials customers. We've maintained the same support staff to continue 24 hour support to customers. Our support staff has been answering emails, unfortunately they have not reached our clients.

As I posted previously, we are ready and willing to answer questions that come our way.

Ross, we're working hard so that Budget Host doesn't go down the $#@!

Thanks everyone for your support!

Marc
