In some posts a security information thingy called BugTraq is mentioned.

On what website (URL) does one read this?

BugTraq is a full disclosure moderated mailing list for the *detailed* discussion and announcement of computer security vulnerabilities: what they are, how to exploit them, and how to fix them.

bugtaQ is good, the only thing is, i get like over50+ emails from them mostly form the newsgroup.

That's a problem for some. All kinds of vulnerabilities on all kinds of operating systems and programs are sent. I tried cancelling the day after since I was getting so much stuff totally unrelated to Linux. There was a problem getting off the list since every time I tried, they said there was no record under the address I registered under. I had to block all e-mail from them to stop it.

oh no , sounds like im Not on their record, i decided to just read all the info at their site instead of getting it via email which is kind of annoying getting over 50+ emails a day and most of the subject line is "how do i hack a linux server" and such :rolleyes: and after 2 weeks im still getting it. bugtraQ :smash:
